Spicetour: A walking tour at a shamba. You will be smelling and tasting spices, herbs and tropical fruits such as clove, lemongrass, nutmeg, cinnamon, turmeric, vanilla, coconuts, papaya, chili, black pepper, jackfruit, cardamom, cassava and oranges. After the tour you will enjoy a traditional swahili lunch at the farm. Here is when you can really taste the different ways of using spices. You can buy spices after the tour.
Stonetown tour: your guide will take you on a historical and cultural journey through the old slave market, Darajani market place, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort and the Sultan’s Palace. Tour also includes a lunch in a restaurant or in a local house, if agreed beforehand.
Jambiani Village Tour: A half day excursion in the village where you will have the chance to experience rural Zanzibar life. The tour includes also a visit to a seaweed farmer, local handicrafts and with doctor.
Jozani Forest Walking Tour: After visiting the red colobus, you will walk across to the Pete-Jozani Mangrove Boardwalk. It entwines through coral thicket vegetation, mangrove forest and across a creek. You walk through mangrove forest which is extremely crucial to Zanzibar’s ecosystems, providing a habitat for many lizards, snakes and birdlife as well as preventing the coastal erosion.
Prison Island: The tour is a half day trip to Prison Island. It starts with the boat from the shores of Stone Town, setting down anchor 5 km away, on the beautiful beach of Prison Island. You will get the opportunity to visit the tortoise sanctuary, which contains a large colony of giant tortoise imported from the Seychelles in the late 19th century.
Safari Bleu Dhow tour: A day sailing on a tradional dhow to experience the magic of the African Spice Island. Diving: there are several diving shops at the Island. You can dive in Zanzibar all year. The warm Indian Ocean water creates water temperatures consistently around 80°F (27°C) and visibility that often exceeds 30m).
