15 days birding & wildlife safari

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport where you will be welcomed by me your driver/guide who will  transfer you to the hotel for check in and depended from you arrival time we can do an excursion or relax at the hotel. If you arrive in the evening you will check in for overnight. 

Day 2: After breakfast we shall head to Mabamba swamp to search for the most after sought bird (Shoebill) and other water birds then later do an afternoon bird watching in Botanical Gardens. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

Day 3: We head out north west side of the country birding along the way making different stop overs then later do an evening birding at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, a key birding spot. After we shall head to Masindi for our overnight while birding the Masindi-Kafu stretch.

Day 4: After breakfast we shall bird watch driving to Royal Mile part of Budongo Forest looking out for the Budongo species like the Rufous Eremomela, Ituri Batis, Chocolate Backed Kingfisher among others. Then later drive to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 5: Today we shall  go for a rewarding game drive along the Northern Sector and meet Big game including giraffe, elephants, lions, antelopes, buffaloes, hartebeests, warthogs, and many more. Lunch at the lodge.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a unique water safari on the Nile and spot Nile crocodiles, hippos, and other small animals. At the same time we shall spot more birds. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. 

Day 6: Early morning bird watching in the park then later cross with the ferry as you drive birding along the way to Hoima for an overnight.

Day 7: After breakfast we shall have embark on our journey to Fort portal while birding along the way, if time allows we can bird a key spot called Sebitoli which is part of Kibale Forest

Day 8: Early morning drive to Semuliki Forest in the rift valley where we shall bird for the whole day looking for the Semuliki Specials like the Grants Bluebill, Pale Negrofinch,Black collared Lovebird amidst the many then later transfer to Kibale Forest for an overnight

Day 9: Early morning birding the kibale forest in search of the Green Breasted Pitta, White-naped Pigeon then in the evening we shall bird watch while heading back to the hotel

Day 10: Birding the BIGODI swamp for more wetland birds, after this activity we shall bird driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park and in the evening, we shall Bird to our Hotel

Day 11: Early Birding in the Park while looking out for more savannah species, in the afternoon we shall do an afternoon boat cruise and later we shall head back to the Lodge while doing an evening bird watching.

Day 12: We shall wake up in the morning birding along the way via Ishasha to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 13: Whole day Birding the Mubwindi Swamp then later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an overnight while birding along the way.

Day 14:  Optional Early morning boat cruise or bird watch nearby swamps before transferring to lake Mburo for an evening bird watching.

Day 15:  Activities on this day will determined by your flight back home but in other words if time allows there is an optional boat cruise or birding in the park as we look out for more species that cross from Tanzania I:e Crested Barbet, Black Collared Barbet, Long Tailed Cisticola among others, after this we can then drive off to Airport for your safe flight back home.
