Location: Built in 1969, it is located in Tsavo West National Park, the home of the Big 5. It can be accessed from Nairobi (260 km away), through Mtito Andei Gate or from Mombasa (250 km away) through Tsavo River Gate. The Lodge is perched on the Ndawe Escarpment just below Ngulia Hills.
The Lodge has the best game viewing and breathtaking views in all directions; from the rooms, to the restaurant and a massive binoculars overlooking the Rhino Sanctuary surrounded by scenic hills. The lodge and its watering hole have an almost permanent population of elephants, buffalos, not to mention a 90% likelihood of seeing a leopard up-close exclusive to Ngulia Safari Lodge because of unique location.
