3 days Mikumi

Visit this park in a 3 days safari with overnight at Camp Bastian. The park is very accessible by surfaced road from Dar es Salaam. The grasslands of Mikumi support large herds of zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and impala. Giraffe and elephant are also common. Predators, like lions and spotted hyena, are present but sightings are relatively rare.

Day 1: Dar es Salam to Mikumi. Pick up at 6 am at your hotel or early morning pick up at Dar es Salaam airport and drive to Mikumi for 6 hours with stop for hot lunches in Mikumi and drive for afternoon and evening game drive inside the park while dinner and overnight at Bastian camp or similar. 

Day 2: Mikumi. After breakfast we leave the camp with the packed lunches for the game drive inside the park to  find the big cats of Mikumi national park, hippos, crocodiles and many more. We have lunch in the afternoon and proceed with the game drive. Thereafter follows dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian. 

Day 3: Mikumi to Dar es Salam. After breakfast we leave te park with packed lunches . En route game drive towards Dar es Salam. Arrive in evening at your hotel. ( not included)
