Euphorbia safari lodge

Location: Euphorbia Safari Lodge sits right in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s 10 National Parks, which boasts more than 600 species of bird.

Accommodation: traditionally furnished hexagonal cottages are equipped with comfy beds, chairs, tables and storage for luggage. We provide our guests with bottled water, torches and mosquito nets too and the semi-open air bathroom means you can enjoy the abundant sounds of nature as you take a shower.

Activities: gamedrive in the Queen Elisabeth National Park, cruise at the Kazinga channel, birding safaris, birding can be done early by boat across Lake George towards the Kazinga Channel or in the afternoon on foot along the shores of the lake. 

At Euphorbia they really enjoy helping their visitors explore and understand their local culture and way of life. After a leisurely breakfast, why not take a walk with the community guide, through the village of Kasenyi and go on to see the local working salt pans at Lake Bunyampaka.

Trekking in search of chimps in the Kyambura Gorge is a magical experience.  You will drive by safari truck through the savannah to meet your specialist guide who will take you on a hike down into the gorge, a stunning area of dense woodland surrounding the Kyambura River which cuts right through the grasslands of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
