3 days Murchison Falls Uganda
Day 1: Entebbe> Murchison Falls National Park.
Depart Entebbe your driver guide will brief you on the day's program shortly before the start of a six hours drive to Murchison Falls National Park. We will drive through the famous Luwero triangle have a stop over at Kabalega Dinners for Breakfast then return to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the Rhinos. This sanctuary was established to breed, and restore Rhino populations in Uganda’s protected areas in a later stage. After Tracking the Rhinos continue the drive to Murchison Falls National Park Via Karuma. Arriving at the lodge later for lunch. Relax at the lodge and later in the evening depending on the time you may go a for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Gamedrive and boat cruise.
Arise very early in the morning at 4:30am have breakfast at depart at around 5:30am for your
early morning game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile in your open-roof vehicle which
will give you an excellent opportunity to view and photograph the diverse wildlife. Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the lodge at
12:00pm for lunch After lunch, go for a boat cruise at 2:30pm upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the schools of hippos, crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephants, waterbucks and Uganda Kobs. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers,
hornbills, cormorants and the rare shoebill storks. Later, return to your lodge and relax in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Day 3 : top of the falls > Entebbe.
4.45am breakfast. depart the lodge at around 5.30am Early Game drive at 10am cross over with
the ferry and drive to the top of the falls stopping at the top of the falls which is a fantastic sight. Here the Nile, the longest river in the world, is forced through a narrow gap in the rock (only 7 meters wide), before ferociously plunging down into a frothing pool 43m below. Enjoy the fascinating sites and later Proceed to Entebbethrough Budongo forest where you will come across a congress of playful anticipating baboons along the road. They graple about in anticipation as some shy away into the thick Budongo Forest. Depart the park for Entebbewith a a stop over for lunch at Kabalega dinners. Arrive in Entebbe in the evening.
