Okech - Haneveld,
qualified wedding planner with a diploma and owner of Ivory & Pearls. Since 2000 we have been
organizing
safaris. I felt that it was time to go for a new challenge. The
idea of starting a wedding planner agency was born after a long
stay in Kenya.
In
2007 and 2008 we lived in Kenya for a longer period of time
and we met many tourists who got married in Kenya. I found
out that there is quite some interest in getting married in
Kenya. However it is hard to find information and an
specialized agency for weddings in Kenya and Tanzania. While
both countries have lots to offer concerning wedding
locations. So the idea came up to start an wedding planning
agency for Kenya and Tanzania. We selected beautiful and
romantic wedding venues. We created a team of local wedding
planners employed by Ivory & Pearls and professional
photographers, visagists, hairdressers, decorations
designers etc to make your wedding day a perfect day and one
not to forget.
Marion Obura
is one of
our wedding planners. Being passionate about her job
and obtaining a diploma from the wedding planning school in
Nairobi she is the right person to cooperate with. Marion will
assist us especially at the big wedding events. Furthermore we
work with freelance weddingplanners and trainees to fit into our
team.

We have
successfully organized weddings at several locations and now are
very busy with planned marriage ceremonies in the Masai Mara,
churches in Mombasa, at the beaches! |
